Do you have a child with a disability or additional need?

I believe that every child has a right to a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment to enable them to reach their full potential. I am happy to look after children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and support Children with disabilities.

I have experience caring for blind and visually impaired children, children with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS), ADD/ADHD, and other learning disabilities. Edwards Syndrome, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, CFS, Angelman Syndrome, Huntington’s and Developmental Delay.

I have experience using hoists, slip and slide mats, most disability walking and feeding aids, peg feeding and colostomy bags, however would require updated training to carry these out as constant advances and legislation require that I must hold valid certificates.

I am happy to complete these (this will usually be covered within your support package if you are eligible for one or your DLA payments)
