I started my career in Health and Social Care working with an agency providing respite care for Children ages 0-16 years with physical disabilities and then moved on to residential settings with young adults who had Autism and challenging behaviour. I then spent many years working for a charity that supports carers from all backgrounds, who were caring for person or persons who have a physical and/or mental disability as well as time spent working within a mental health service. In addition, I worked as an operations manager and managed a large team across the County carrying out supervisions and liaising with many agencies. I carried out a variety of roles including ; involvement in safeguarding, wellbeing boards and health and safety. As such, it is easy for me to appreciate the stresses of everyday life, work and coping with family commitments. I love working with children and enjoy being able to contribute to their learning experiences of the world.
