As mentioned, your child can bring a comforter or items of their choosing within reason to help them settle in. I advise no items of high value as I do care for other children and although everyone is expected and encouraged to treat property with respect accidents do occasionally occur.
I will ensure that during their time with me all children in my care are happy and comfortable.
If they would like to have family photos or pictures of their pet then they can keep that in their special individual drawer or comfort box and I am pleased to accommodate this.
Each child will be provided with their own book and box and I will encourage them to use these to put down their ideas. Parents can use this as an additional tool to share ideas that can be incorporated into routines and activities.

Please fill in the sheet for your child in the registration pack “About Me” this will help us get to know one another a little better. I very much look forward to working with you and your child.
If your child has particular routines or activities that they attend please advise me and I will do my best to enable them to continue these. Every day the children will get an opportunity to decide what activities they would like to do during play times such as music or painting. As well as carrying out planned activities or tasks that may have to be done that day such as school drop offs and lunches or whether a trip will be taking place such as attending the Zoo or park. As far as possible they will each have their input. Choices can be made using picture cards and signs, in addition to enable the younger children to join in the discussion. Parents are encouraged to provide input, share any ideas or provide feedback via the website, phone, your child’s book or face to face.
